The Spanish Hound is a medium-to-large, rectangular scenthound with long dropped ears, a short coat, and a red-and-white or black-and-white pattern. The outline is that of a slow, methodical tracking hound.

The Spanish Hound, or Sabueso Espanol, is a scenthound from Spain used to follow game and, in some regions, to trail wounded animals.
